Become a Friend of JFS

JFS is supported by government funding, the United Jewish Federation of Utah, local and national foundations, United Way of Salt Lake, and private donations. All donations are fully tax deductible as allowed by law.

Your gift makes a difference! You help us to provide services for those in need.

• $75 will provide 1 hour of in-home services to an isolated older adult.
• $150 will provide a month of ESL and citizenship classes for an elderly refugee.
• $400 will provide counseling for a troubled individual or family for a month.
• $600 will provide a month of activities for 10 seniors.

United Way

You can contribute to Jewish Family Service by donating through the United Way of Salt Lake, whether by a one-time gift or a recurring payroll deduction.  Be sure to note our JFS Utah for your donation.  Please contact JFS at 801.746.4334 for more information or United Way at www.unitedway.org.

Food Donations

Give the gift of food!  We provide food assistance to eligible indviduals and families who are facing financial crises.  There are several ways that you can help with this critical endeavor.  Please bring your gifts of non-perishable food items to JFS, 1111 East Brickyard Road, Suite 109.  Or call 801.746.4334 for more information.

Grocery & Gas Gift Cards

Contribute gift cards from local grocery stores such as Smith's, Harmon's, Maverick, etc.  Gift cards enable people to purchase what they need, when they need it.  If you would like to contribute a gift card, please send it to:

Tribute Cards

A tribute card is a convenient and thoughtful way to acknowledge any occasion in the lives of others and support the fine work of Jewish Family Service.  JFS has beautiful cards for all occasions:

"In honor of..."
"In celebration of..."
"In memory of..."
"For a speedy recovery of..."

Begin participating in our tribute card program by making a donation in any amount to JFS.  Please note the occasion, and include both your and the recipients' name, address, phonoe number and JFS will send out the card on your behalf.

Circle of Giving

Circles of Giving are groups who join together, share an evening of socializing, education, and tzedakah while donating to the programs and services offered by Jewish Family Service.
