Food Donations

Give the gift of food! We provide food assistance to eligible indviduals and families who are facing financial crises through our on-site food pantry. The number of people utilizing food pantries is growing due to economic hardship, rising food prices and cuts to government assistance. Food bank visits are increasingly made by folks who have never needed any social service programs in the past. The economy remains difficult for many people - these folks are your friends and neighbors who have fallen on hard times. Please bring your gifts of non-perishable food items to JFS, 1111 East Brickyard Road, Suite 218.  Or call 801.746.4334 for more information.

Gas & Grocery Gift Cards

Contribute gift cards from local grocery stores & gas stations such as Smith's, Wal-Mart, Harmon's, Maverick, Sinclair, etc. Gift cards enable people to purchase what they need, when they need it. If you would like to contribute a gift card, please send it to:

Designated Days of Online Giving

JFS participates in the state-wide LoveUTGiveUT fundraising campaign in March and Park City-based LivePCGivePC fundraising campaign in November every year. On these annual online fundraising days local communities come together for 24 hours of virtual giving - initiatives of The Community Foundation of Utah and The Park City Community Foundation, respectively. It's your chance to make an impact for nonprofits that help make Utah a great place to live. Watch for notices on JFS's website for dates of these upcoming campaigns.

Gifts of Stock

This is a mutually beneficial option for donor and recipient, as under certain circumstances capital gains tax may be avoided if stock is donated rather than sold first. (Consult a tax advisor. This is not legal nor tax advice.)

Corporate Matching

Ask your employer if they have a matching gift program - an easy way to double your donation to JFS!

State or Federal Employee Campaigns

If you are a state or federal employee there are designated ways you can donate to JFS through payroll deduction.

Circles of Giving
